Five people, including three children, are being treated in hospital after being struck by lightning just outside of Tillsonburg, Ont., on Monday afternoon.
The OPP say the five people were struck at an address on Main Street in Courtland, Ont., which is located about 100 kilometres southwest of Hamilton.
Of the five struck, the OPP said:
- One adult woman was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
- One adult was taken to hospital for precautionary measures.
- Three children were taken to hospital for precautionary measures.
It’s not known whether the five people struck are related.
It happened at 3:47 p.m.
