Xbox One console owners are reporting issues with using Xbox Live servers tonight, along with core services.
It’s unclear what is causing the outage, but the good news is that it doesn’t appear to be a worldwide outage.
This means that gamers are struggling to invite friends to Xbox Live parties across Xbox consoles.
One user writes: “I Can’t send party invites, and I can’t receive them either. I can’t receive game invites either. I was trying to play ARK and couldn’t log in, as the password wouldn’t pop up in the box. It remained empty.
“I Tried playing The Hunter: Call of the Wild and that wouldn’t work online either. My internet is fully working.”
Another adds: “I’m stuck at 84 per cent for my Xbox update. Before I factory reset my Xbox, Could the Xbox Live status be my issue?
As of right now, the Xbox Live support site is not listing any issues with Party or Chat services, but do confirm problems with registering Gamertags and creating profiles.
It’s unclear what is causing tonight’s Xbox outage or how long it might last, but there is a good chance of things getting fixed soon by Microsoft.
