February 2021 will include a big refresh of PS Now games, with plenty of new PS4 titles to be announced for the service.
Around four new games are expected to arrive on PlayStation Now next month, although that number could be higher.
Recent months have seen Sony add a flurry of new titles when they have also removed a few.
And PS Now February 2021 will see at least two PS4 games removed from the subscription service.
This includes Hitman 2 and Dead Cells, both of which will be unavailable to play from Tuesday, February 2.
The good news is that both titles have been available to enjoy since August 2020, so there won’t have been any real excuse not to have completed them by this point.
As always, these games will be replaced by something new, with at least three new titles added each month.
January’s PS Now update brought The Crew 2, Surviving Mars and Frostpunk, which made for a great combo of different genres.
At least one indie game will be announced to replace Dead Cells, but it’s a complete guess what others could be revealed.
Days Gone was one of the most recent first-party exclusives to vacate the service, so another could be on its way.
Marvel’s Spider-Man was a big hit when it launched on PlayStation Now earlier this year, and there are still plenty of first-party games that could be selected.
However, it should also be noted that Horizon Zero Dawn was added to PS Now in December and was never given an end date.
This suggests that it will be available on PlayStation Now for a long time and could remain the big first-party console exclusive over the coming months.
Sony is expected to announce the replacement for Hitman 2 in the coming days, alongside a number of other games.
And it will be up to Sony how many titles are added to the service during 2021.
PS Now is a streaming-only service, so none of these games will need to be downloaded and installed onto your console.
It should also be noted that PS Now can also be accessed via a PC by simply downloading the official app and having a compatible controller to hand.
When it comes to the PS Now games announcement for February, Sony is expected to make the reveal on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
This will be the same day that the new PS Plus games will be released onto the PlayStation Store.
And that means there will be plenty of free games to choose from if you have both subscription services locked in.
It should also be noted that gamers only have a short window to enjoy Hitman 2 and Dead Cells before they are removed from the service.
