Underworld have debuted ‘I’ll See Big’, their latest collaboration with Iggy Pop.
The track is a surprisingly minimalist effort from the electro pioneers, with a subtle beat playing over a spoken word effort from Iggy.
“I wanted to have some friends”, Iggy offers on the track.
“But not a lot of people wanted to be my friend. Couple of nerds, maybe, but nerds have trouble being friends.”

According to the group, the lyrics of the track were inspired by a conversation Iggy had with Danny Boyle about how friendship had become the subtext of cult sequel T2: Trainspotting.
Iggy’s music famously appeared in the original film – with ‘Lust For Life’ soundtracking one of Trainspotting’s most enduringly popular scenes.
The collaboration between the two acts comes ahead of the ‘Teatime Dub Encounters’ EP, which sees them joining forces for a selection of tracks.
Last month, they debuted new track, ‘Bells & Circles.’
The song was recorded in London “during an afternoon tea encounter,” and also features a spoken word performance by Iggy as he details the pros and cons of smoking on an aeroplane.
Later this month, 71-year-old Iggy will support Queens of the Stone Age as they bring their ‘Villains’ tour to the UK with a huge show in London’s Finsbury Park on June 30.
