Activision usually refreshes its various Call of Duty titles on Tuesdays, sometimes including new content and cosmetic items.
The base-level changes include playlist updates, which remove various levels and modes and refreshes them for new ones.
However, so far today, there has been no notable change made, meaning that no Call of Duty Warzone or Black Ops Cold War update has been released.
The only notable change made to the game today includes a Call of Duty Store update.
COD fans can now buy the Tracer Pack: Bulldozer Operator Bundle, which includes eight items.
This includes the new Bulldozer operator, who is described as: “Menacing to his enemies as he is loyal to his team. He leads breaching operations and draws enemy fire so that his squad can get in fast and finish the job.
“Wyatt Jones enlisted in the US Marine Corps at 18, and at 20 years old he assisted in the evacuation of Saigon. Serving with distinction, he then joined the Marine Corps Special Reaction Team in 1978. As the unstoppable Bulldozer, he wreaks havoc in close quarters combat and excels as a hostage rescue expert.
“Bulldozer means business, and a glance at the weaponry included in his eight-item Bulldozer Operator bundle proves it.”
Other items in the bundle include:
The “Heavy Handed” Legendary Blueprint: This combat sledgehammer features a twisted rubber grip for improved handling and a unique melee animation. It’s also at the center of the “Hammer Uppercut” Finishing Move, also part of the bundle.
Monstrous Envy tactical rifle: The included attachments focus on getting to the fight fast, with the SFOD Speedgrip and Serpent Wrap improving your sprinting move speed and sprint to fire timing, bolstered by the Kobra Red Dot and STANAG 54 Round for precise suppressive fire.
Legendary “Headache” shotgun Blueprint: This features a five-attachment spread including the 19.3” Hammer Forged Barrel for a faster fire rate, the Tiger Team Spotlight to speed up sprint to fire timing, the Dropshot Wrap for added flinch resistance, better ammo capacity via the 6 Round Tube, and the Flash Cone 12 Ga for muzzle flash concealment.
In addition to unlocking Bulldozer’s default skin – Blitz – you’ll gain access to the “Demon Hammer” Animated Emblem, “The Penetrator” battering ram Weapon Charm, and Bulldozer’s own “Death’s Reminder” Wrist Accessory, a parachute cord bracelet with a golden skull at its center.
But none of this is connected to any upcoming playlist update or weapon rebalancing from developers Treyarch and Raven Software.
And it raises the question when we can expect the next big update for Call of Duty Warzone and Cold War.
Based on previous launches, we would predict Thursday, January 7, as the next day we could see a big update.
But due to the holiday period and developers being off for several weeks, we could be waiting a little longer than usual.
Gamers are also very keen to see changes made to several weapons available in Warzone right now, including the DMR-14.
A lot of COD fans are desperate to see a Warzone DMR nerf released in January, due to how it’s been dominating matches.
It has quickly cemented itself as the go-to weapon to unlock and level up as it provides a unique mix of traits.
While the DMR-14 in Warzone is a Tactical Rifle, it can be upgraded via the Gunsmith to have 40 rounds and an increase to both damage range and bullet velocity.
Combine that with a selection of mid-range scopes and a high firepower rate, and you’ve got quite the package.
That’s without mentioning that the DMR doesn’t appear to suffer from any kind of weapon drop-off, making it deadly from half the map away.
I’ve never been one to opt for a tactical rifle in Warzone but having seen the devastation the DMR can cause; I can see why it’s dominating.
The DMR is a perfect choice for a Duos game as it can put down two players with just a few of its many bullets.
Not only that, but the speed in which you can do this makes it very hard to fight back against.
