Developers Raven Software may not have announced it yet, but gamers have confirmed that the Warzone stim glitch is back in Call of Duty.
Not only is it one of the more frustrating exploits used but it’s also the one that keeps finding a way back into the game.
It’s unclear at this time whether each new patch has a chance of bringing it back or not, but COD fans first noticed its return earlier today.
From what has been shared so far the exploit remains the same, players have found a way to continually heal themselves, allowing them to remain in the gas until they win the match.
While this Warzone glitch might not be apparent to everyone, making it to the final circle only to find no opponent to fight is extremely frustrating.
The Stim Glitch has been part of the game for some time, and it seems to find ways to slither back into the gameplay cycle regularly.
And just by looking at today’s search results online, you can clearly see that the Stim Glitch is already affecting a lot of players.
It’s become one of the top trending searches on Google, with players wanting to know how to pull off the exploit.
And without a system to remove wins from players who it, it’s unlikely to stop in the future.
The good news is that a big mid-season update is being released this week across Black Ops and Warzone.
This will be happening on January 14 and will hopefully give Raven Software enough time to add a new Stim Glitch hotfix.
A message from Treyarch revealed these changes are being planned for this week, telling gamers online:
“Season One gets even bigger with new content in Multiplayer and Zombies! Get ready to drop into a massive new Fireteam map with your squad in Sanatorium, and fight for control of the nuclear codes in the all-new 6v6 MP mode, Dropkick
“In Zombies, we’re turning the intensity up to 11 in the new Cranked mode, where every zombie killed resets the timer counting down to your demise. And in Onslaught, Raid joins the map list along with new Dark Aether intel for Zombies fans on PlayStation. This mid-season update arrives Jan. 14th, with more Season One content to come.”
But while we can expect some changes in Call of Duty Warzone this week, there are other problems currently affecting the game.
Not only is the stim glitch back but gamers are also struggling against some over-powered loadouts.
While not as much as an issue in Resurgence Mode as the normal Battle Royale experience, the DMR-14 and Mac-10 remain hard to beat.
Both received nerfs last week but remain some of the top weapons being used on Warzone. With such an imbalance in gameplay, it wouldn’t be surprising to find out another weapon rebalancing patch is in the works for later in January.
The latest changes to both weapons can be found below:
DMR 14
- Reduced headshot damage.
- Increased recoil.
Type 63
- Reduced headshot damage.
- Increased recoil.
Mac-10
- Decreased headshot damage multiplier.
Handgun Charlie (Akimbo Only)
- Decreased damage range.
- Increased hip-fire spread.
