Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is getting another update this week, following a week of patch news. It’s unclear if this week’s Call of Duty update will see big changes made to Warzone on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The good news is that COD gamers can expect various playlist changes made to the popular Battle Royale mode, as well as to Modern Warfare. There has been no mention made of any big changes being made to Call of Duty Warzone before the release of Black Ops Season 1.
This is scheduled to happen in early December, meaning there’s plenty of time left before that happen.
This could mean that the remaining Season 6 patches for Warzone could prove to be low-key additions.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty Black Ops team is also gearing up for a big release this week with the launch of the Nuketown map across all platforms.
Nuketown ’84 is set to drop on November 24, with Tuesday the usual day for big Call of Duty updates to be released.
And before that happens, Treyarch has launched a free bundle based on the iconic Black Ops map.
A message from Treyarch confirming how to claim it reveals: “As a special thank you to everyone who played Black Ops Cold War since its release, every player who logged in from when the game launched on November 13 to 10 a.m. PT on November 20 will automatically receive the Nuketown Weapon Bundle.
“You’ll find all its items waiting for you in-game by November 20 at 12 p.m. PT, well ahead of Nuketown ’84’s debut on November 24.
“The Nuketown Weapon Bundle will also be included with every purchase of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War from now until December 4 at 2 a.m. PT, making this Black Friday season a great time to jump into the next generation of global combat if you have yet to experience it.
“So long as you log in and play the game before December 4, you’ll receive this bundle on top of any edition-specific rewards included with your purchase.”
It should also be noted that a recent patch was released by developers Treyarch this weekend, which can be downloaded today.
This latest update is mainly focused on improving the Zombies Mode experience, with the development team confirming:
“We’ve implemented various bug fixes and Zombies updates, including the restoration of Tier III Ring of Fire’s ability to pull from stock ammo for Wonder Weapons.”
