Brian added: “I have to say it was never my favourite of Freddie’s compositions. I think it was thrown together very quickly.
“I love his more soulful things like The Miracle or… Life is Real. I love that really contemplative stuff that he did.”
In the interview, given alongside long-term collaborator Kerry Ellis, Brian opened up about how any songwriter feels that their compositions are their “babies” which could lead to conflict when you have four in one band.
