The English rock band was formed at Charterhouse School in 1967, with Collins joining in 1970. The current line-up last hit the road in 2007 with the Turn It On Again Tour. Plans for 2020 were derailed by the global pandemic but the stars are back together and back in rehearsals for next year’s The Last Domino? Tour with the rescheduled dates due to kick off in Glasgow next April.
The new pictures show Collins, Rutherford and Tony Banks laughing together at a studio in London.
The historic occasion marks fifty years of a chart-topping team that has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, including six UK chart-toppers.
A statement to Express online said: “The three old friends are playing together again for the first time since the Turn It On Again: The Tour in 2007. Joined by Nic Collins on drums, and long time lead guitar and bass player Daryl Stuermer, they are sounding incredible”
