Andrea Bocelli is one of the world’s most renowned tenors and now his son Matteo Bocelli is following in his father’s footsteps. In 2018, the sensational singers duetted for the first time with Fall On Me, which featured in the end credits of Disney movie The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. They even performed live for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the Royal Variety Performance that year.
While at the end of last year, Matteo performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on the new Disney Goes Classical album.
During lockdown last year, the now 23-year-old gave a YouTube Q&A for fans.
Asked about working with Disney twice, Matteo said: “So the first time was with my dad.
“It’s been a beautiful experience because, of course, since I was a little kid he would travel a lot.”

Matteo continued: “And, of course, I was doing school, I didn’t have the chance to spend a lot of time with him.
“With Fall On Me, I had the chance to spent a lot of time with him travelling and being on many stages so it’s been fantastic.”
He then went on to speak of his solo debut with his cover of Can You Feel The Love Tonight.
The 23-year-old said: “Now with this new experience…it’s basically the very first solo release in my career.”
During the Q&A, another fan asked Matteo about the different genres of music he enjoys listening to.
The star said: “I listen to many kinds of music. I was born with classical and opera music…but I’m very into pop music.”
Andrea’s son is currently working on more solo material which he hopes to unveil in the coming months.
He teased: “We’re composing a lot of songs that we hope to share with you very soon. I’m writing a lot of new music.”
Last year Express.co.uk caught up with Andrea, who admitted he’s been singing with Matteo in lockdown.
The 62-year-old tenor, whose new album Believe is out now, said: “[Singing together] happens a lot, yes.
“Matteo hasn’t been with us lately, as he has spent a few weeks working in Australia. He is just back and we’re definitely planning to make up for lost time.”
Asked if a family album was in the works, Andrea replied: “It’s not a consideration at the moment. But… never say never.”
