Niantic will be changing some of the current Pokemon Go Raids available in-game, starting on November 5.

The first of these will be Lugia, who will be gliding its way back onto screens on Thursday.

This will be followed by Terrakion, Cobalion, and Virizion on November 16, while there will also be a few replacements.

Darkrai will be disappearing as an option this week, so Trainers will need to make sure they have everything they need before the raid update begin.

Niantic has also confirmed that November will be a busy month for collectors, as there will be two Community Day events scheduled.

These will be spaced a week apart, and will start with Electabuzz on November 15, followed by Magmar.

A message from Niantic adds: “On November 15 between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time, Electabuzz will be appearing more frequently in the wild.

“Eggs placed in Incubators during the event will require a quarter the normal Hatch Distance, and Elekid will be hatching from 2 km Eggs.

“During the event or within two hours of its end, Trainers can evolve Electabuzz into Electivire that know the exclusive attack Flamethrower.

“On November 21, the second Community Day of the month will take place, this time featuring Magmar. Between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time, this Fire-type Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild.

“Eggs placed in Incubators during the event will require a quarter the normal Hatch Distance, and Magby will be hatching from 2 km Eggs. During the event or within two hours of its end, Trainers can evolve Magmar into Magmortar that know the exclusive attack Thunderbolt.”

Niantic has also announced its plans for the start of Season 5 of the Pokemon Go Battle League.

Season 5 of the GO Battle League will be shorter than previous seasons at just three weeks long. In addition, ratings will not be used for rank progression this season, and you’ll instead progress through the ranks by winning a certain number of battles.

Battle League Season 5 begins on Monday, November 9, 2020, at 1pm PDT (9GMT), with end-of-season rewards for Season 4 becoming available on the Battle screen soon after.

Season 5 will also feature entirely new cups, including the following events:

The Little Cup will run from Monday, November 9, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Monday, November 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8). Only Pokémon that are able to evolve and have not evolved even once are eligible. The CP limit is 500.

The Kanto Cup will run from Monday, November 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Monday, November 23, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8). Only Pokémon with a Pokédex number between #001 and #151 are eligible. The CP limit is 1,500.

The Catch Cup will run from Monday, November 23, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Monday, November 30, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8). Only Pokémon that have been caught since the beginning of Season 5 are eligible. The CP limit is 1,500. Mythical Pokémon—such as Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, and Victini—are not eligible for the Catch Cup.
