A heat warning is in effect for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent. Environment Canada warns that high temperatures are expected to reach the low thirties again with peak humidex values near 40.
A cold front will cross southern Ontario tonight ending the heat event.

Traffic alert
Riverside Drive between Lauzon Road and Riverdale Avenue will be closed for construction until December 2018.
The city said construction crews will be rebuilding the roadway with the intent of reducing driver speed and volume, while increasing safety along the scenic drive though the installation of curbs and gutters, on-road bike lanes and sidewalks, and roadway realignment.
That closure begins Monday, June 18.

Ambassador Bridge: No delays reported.
Windsor-Detroit Tunnel: 15 minute delay for all vehicles entering the U.S.
Blue Water Bridge: 30 minute wait for trucks entering the U.S.
Gas
Gas is selling from $1.22 to $1.26 in Windsor-Essex.
The Dollar
The Canadian dollar closed at 76 cents U.S. The market opens at 9:30 a.m.
